On top of our retail store, we want to create an adventure company that will be unique, affordable, and fun.
We also wanted to create a name for this company, that not only describes the typical hardcore outdoors
person, but also makes you crack a smile when you hear the name we have chosen. That name is
Obsessive Compulsive Adventurers.
Obsessive Compulsive Adventurers will offer all kinds of non-guided, club style, one-day to multi-day
bicycle rides and tours, hikes, backpacking trips, and other forms of outdoor recreation. A lot of our trips
will be weekend club trips to go hike, bike, and run through cool places in the 4-corners region and
beyond. You can view these trips more as friends getting together to go play in the outdoors, rather than a
proper guiding service like we will be doing with our Hike, Bike, & Run Tours.
Obsessive Compulsive Adventurers will also be an adventure race company, and it is our goal to put on
unique types of biking, running, and multi-sport events around Payson's Rim Country, all over the desert
southwest, and in other parts of the country. We plan to do these races and events as fundraisers to help
raise money for local youth-at-risk and for singletrack trails in Payson's Rim Country.
Obsessive Compulsive Adventurers will eventually become a 501c Non-Profit Organization. All the money
we raise will stay in Payson's Rim County.
We are still busy getting our retail store Hike, Bike, & Run off the ground, so it will take some time for us to
really get our adventure company going strong. We are going to promote this company heavily in 2008,
and hopefully by late summer 2008, into 2009, we will be doing trips and races on a regular basis.
