Welcome To Hike, Bike, & Run
|
Jackie just gave birth to Austin McKinley Wolf on March 4th, 2008. Our older son Logan Elias Wolf will be 18
months old in March of 2008 as well. Because of this, Jackie is going to have her hands full trying to be a
mom, a wife, a hiker, a biker, and a runner in 2008 and beyond.
We know a lot of moms in Payson and the surrounding areas are busy being moms and wives too, with
many of you working full-time jobs. It's hard to maintain a busy schedule, run all of your errands, keep the
household organized, and still find time to get out and hike, bike, or run yourself.
Because of this, Jackie is going to start a Hike, Bike, & Run Mom's Outdoor Adventure Club here in Payson
beginning in the summer of 2008. Jackie is going to organize group rides, group hikes, and group runs
where moms can bring their kids to these organized events. Dads, grandmothers, and all other friends
and family are welcome too.
We may offer a hike, bike, or run everyday of the week depending on the response we get, and we will list
all of our events and activities on this web page, and also on our Outdoor Adventure Club's Online Forum.
These events will be for moms of every fitness level. If you are new to any of these sports, and want to
better your fitness and experience, then this will be a great way for you to do so with the support of other
like minded individuals.
In some cases, depending on the age of your kid(s), you may need a baby carrier, a child backpack, a bike
trailer, and/or a jogging stroller to participate in these activities. Mick at Hike, Bike, & Run will be offering
discounts on those items to mom's who join this club and participate in these group activities.
Jackie also has many years experience as a professional nanny and as a nursing assistant. She also has
a season behind her belt as an outdoor guide for a wilderness therapy school in Utah. Jackie will be
available to watch your kids if you want to get out on an evening hike, bike ride, or run, or if you want to get
away for a weekend camping trip or go to a sporting event out of town.
It is also our goal to offer childcare at any race or event our Outdoor Adventure Company plans to offer. As
always, you can keep up-to-date on what's going on by joining our Outdoor Adventure Club's Online Forum!
This group is here to promote health, wellness, togetherness, and support for all family's in the Payson,
Rim Country, and 4-Corners regions.
